You register online in the application portal and upload your artistic work (digital folder/work sample) and the application documents electronically.  You can only submit your application once all documents preventing admission have been uploaded.and print out the online registration form in due time.

In the application portal, you can call up your currently valid letters in the download area and thus find out the status of your application. Please note that the Student Service cannot give you any information about the status of your application by phone or email.

 

Procedure:

• Selection of the course of study in the online application portal
• Online registration
• Entry of personal data including the artistic class or professor
• Upload of the application documents and the digital artistic portfolio/work sample and/or entry of the Upload links from the upload portal in the corresponding field
• Submit application by 15 April 2024, 11:59 a.m. The application portal will be closed thereafter!
• The AdBK checks the application for completeness and formal suitability
• In-house pre-selection based on the digitally submitted artistic works
• Oral aptitude tests
• Sending the letter of admission with the information on enrollment and requests for everyone digitally submitted documents in the original or in a certified photocopy
• Personal enrollment on site at the academy
• Start of studies in the coming winter semester
